The Story Behind Bee&Buzz Social Studio
Bee&Buzz Social Studio was started by Shirley, who spent almost a decade as a translator and later became a social media manager.
While running her small translation business, Shirley handled every single task herself—from client management and invoicing to posting on social media. When the workload eventually became too much to manage alone, she sought help for her social media presence, but the content she received was too generic to feel right. She then turned towards a social media agency, only to find their fees were far beyond her budget.
Feeling stuck and frustrated, Shirley took matters into her own hands and pursued professional training in digital marketing. She then found herself drawn to the creative side of communicating through social media platforms and wanted to use what she had learnt to support fellow solopreneurs as a social media manager.
After helping her first client in the beauty industry with their content and seeing the relief they felt at no longer having to worry about their social media presence, Shirley launched Bee&Buzz Social Studio to help others establish a real, meaningful presence.
